$485.00A two day class to learn the basics of improvisational patchwork and how to put together your first (or 100th) quilt!
In this two day quilting class we will learn about the radical histories of quilt making, learn to use the sewing machine to create beautiful improvised patchwork, and put our layers together to make a crib size quilt.

Cost: $485 per person which includes a $35 material fee (includes all necessary tools and materials)

Prerequisites/Skill Level/Age Requirements:
- No prior experience sewing or making quilts required
- Some students may finish in class but most will take their in progress quilt home to finish
- Ages 18+
Meet Your Instructor
Cody Cook-Parrott
Cody Cook-Parrott is a writer and artist living on the Leelanau Peninsula in Northern Michigan. Cody has a BFA in Dance from the University of Michigan and is an MFA candidate at the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics at Naropa University. Their work has been featured in The New York Times, Vanity Fair, Dance Magazine, The Huffington Post, and more.
