Open Studio: Collaging, Beading & Clothing Swap

Join us for Open Studio at Green Door, the first Wednesday of each month. This is gonna be a fun one! Use our studio space to work on your own project, purchase beading or collaging project materials from Julie at Fisherfolk Handmade, or join a clothing swap hosted by Cody Cook-Parrott!

The Space

Our studio space has cork floors, tables, chairs, focused lighting, and wide-open floors. Settle in with a cup of coffee or tea, or take your work outside among the gardens, goat farm, handmade trails, and outdoor seating.

Fisherfolk Handmade

Julie from Fisherfolk Handmade will be hanging out after her bead-weaving class at the folk school earlier that day, with a number of wares for purchase: beading and collage supply kits, a sampling of her jewelry, nature stickers, and bead bouquets.

Clothing Swap:

Join local artist Cody Cook-Parrott for a free clothing, book, and art materials swap at open studio! Take some time at the end of June to clean out your closets, bookshelves, and studios, and bring your haul to the folk school! Find magic in other people’s unwanted materials. Everything not taken from the swap will be donated to the Women’s Resource Center.
