Intro to Bead Weaving Techniques

This class teaches the basic skills and techniques of seed bead weaving. It offers insight into recommended types of supplies and materials for best results and also touches on the history of the craft across the globe. Students will start with larger beads, learning 2-4 different styles of stitching and weaving. ex. square, brick, fringe, and rope. The intent of this class is not to leave with any finished piece, but more to learn the skills to work on your own. These skills will allow you to create pieces like jewelry or tapestry.
